Terms of service
These terms apply when a clinic signs up for Salvi, including the free trial. By using Salvi, the clinic agrees to them. In these terms, “we” means Salvi and “you” means the clinic and the people who use Salvi on its behalf.
What Salvi does
Salvi replies to patient enquiries on your clinic's WhatsApp number when your team can't, answers from the details you approve, holds provisional bookings for your team to confirm, alerts your on-call doctor about urgent messages, and sends you a summary each morning. Pro adds the features listed on the pricing section of our website.
Not medical advice
Salvi is a front-desk assistant. It does not diagnose, prescribe or give medical advice, and it is not an emergency service. When a message looks urgent, Salvi alerts the contact you nominate and gives the patient general emergency guidance, but it may miss or misread a message. Your clinic stays responsible for patient care, for answering escalations, and for confirming every booking.
Free trial
- New clinics get a 3-week free trial of Pro. No card is needed.
- At the end of the trial, choose Basic or Pro to keep going. If you don't, Salvi stops replying and your account becomes read-only.
- One trial per clinic.
Plans and payment
- Basic is ₹2,499 a month and Pro is ₹4,499 a month, per clinic location. Yearly plans are ₹24,990 and ₹44,990. Prices are flat, with no setup fee and no fee per booking.
- Pro includes 300 marketing messages a month, such as review requests and follow-ups. Unused messages don't carry over.
- Plans are paid in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, we will remind you. If it is still unpaid 7 days later, Salvi pauses replies until it is settled.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and it applies from your next renewal.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time, and Salvi keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. We don't refund part-used periods, except where the law requires it. You can export your data before and for 30 days after you leave, as described in our privacy policy.
Your responsibilities
- Keep the details Salvi answers from (timings, services, doctors, price ranges) accurate and up to date.
- Confirm or decline provisional bookings promptly, and respond to escalations from your on-call contact.
- Use a WhatsApp number your clinic controls, follow WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies, and only send marketing messages to patients who have agreed to receive them.
- Tell patients how their data is handled, and sign our data processing agreement before going live.
- Keep your login secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Don't use Salvi to send spam, mislead patients, or for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.
Your data
Your clinic owns its patient data. We process it only to provide Salvi, as set out in the data processing agreement and our privacy policy. We never sell it.
Service and support
We work to keep Salvi running around the clock and monitor it for problems, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Salvi depends on WhatsApp, Meta and other providers outside our control. If Salvi stops replying, we will tell you and work to fix it quickly.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost bookings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending the service
We may end these terms if you seriously breach them and don't fix the breach within 14 days of our notice, or straight away for unlawful use. If we stop offering Salvi altogether, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking it through; if that fails, the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
